Mermaid, sweet sea princess were you here?
Or hallucinations brought on by strong ale.
These magical mermaids, then start to sing.
Tempting the sailor with promises of lust.
Mermaids, the wicked sirens, their voices do ring.
Leading the ships to disaster, an end so unjust.
